Bookworm Tag

OK- I've been tagged by Donna and in the process have learned what a meme is. Not meme as in the name your kids call grandma, and not meme as in myself myself, but meme as in "A meme comprises any idea or behavior that can pass from one person to another by learning or imitation." (according to Wikipedia)
So this here meme is a bookworm meme (didn't you say your grandma loved to read?) The rules are to grab the book closest to you, turn to page 56, type the first sentence of the 5th paragraph. So, at the time of tagging the closest book to me was a wonderful novel by Bronwen Scarffe entitled OH BOTHER! OK, actually it is a children's book and it only has 16 pages so I will type the 16th:
"There's a hole in my pie and it's d-r--i-p-p-i-n-g everywhere. Oh bother!"
Aren't you glad you asked? It just doesn't get any better than that. If this book had been written at my house today, it might have read "There's a hole in my transmission and it's dripping everywhere." It's not really dripping but it is in need of being replaced...and that, my friends, is a bother but we will deal with it.
Next on the tag list if you would like to participate:
Michele- such quick wit...what are you feeding that brain of yours these days?
Jaclyn- because you read two hours a day and are teaching yourself Russian?!?
